English corner

Personally, I think it is always a good idea to have a corner for any foreign language that is learned in class. It is a way of reinforcing the vocabulary, grammar and basic structures that become part of our daily life. If students have doubts at the time of writing the date, for example, they can always go to the English corner and resolve their doubts.

Flag of the United Kingdom

The national flag of the United Kingdom is the Union Jack.

It consists of the red cross of Saint George (patron saint of England), the Cross of St Patrick (patron saint of Ireland) and the Saltire of Saint Andrew (patron saint of Scotland). Wales is not represented in the Union Flag as at the time the flag was designed Wales was part of England.
